Custom Rtmp

Send a prepared stream to any provider that gives you an RTMP or RTMPS server URL and stream key.

Before you begin

Obtain a dedicated ingest URL and key from the destination. Use RTMPS whenever the provider supports it.

1Open Destinations and select Custom RTMP.
2Enter a recognizable destination name, the complete RTMP/RTMPS URL, and the private stream key.
3Save the destination and confirm that its card reports READY.
4Create or edit a stream and select the custom destination; choose a second destination only if the account plan allows it.
5Start the stream and confirm the provider receives video and audio before publishing it to viewers.
