Connect Youtube

Connect YouTube Live using the RTMPS stream URL and private stream key supplied by YouTube Studio.

Before you begin

Create or schedule a live stream in YouTube Studio first. Never paste the stream key into a support ticket or public message.

Complete the workflow

  1. 1In YouTube Studio, open the live control room and copy the Stream URL and Stream key.
  2. 2In 24Stream, open Destinations and choose YouTube.
  3. 3Paste the RTMPS URL and stream key, then save. The stored key is encrypted and is not displayed again.
  4. 4Create a stream and select YouTube as a destination. If the plan permits, select one additional configured destination.
  5. 5Start the stream in 24Stream, wait for YouTube’s incoming preview, then complete YouTube’s Go Live action when required.
